Description
'On the Edge' : Fort Pierce Inlet on South Hutchinson Island.
This picture was a learning experience for me. After I crafted this picture, I realized that places like 'On the Edge" and the environments around these restaurants/ bars were actually art pieces that I could document and add my own twist to each art piece.
Second their regular customers have emotional feeling that have nothing to do with a good meal and a few drinks. Things do happen that have nothing to do with what the owner(s) envisioned when they opened their future business.
After I saw this was a picture that I liked, I made a print of the picture to give to the owner. After all, he spent a fortune to produce most of the important element within the picture. So one night I showed up to the bar area and asked the woman behind the bar to put this print in their office for the owner. I thought that would have been the end of my involvement. However, the woman behind the bar got excited when she looked at the picture and showed the picture to everyone in the bar. She begged me for a copy of the picture which I didn't want to do but ultimately did. She wanted the picture because she met her current boyfriend in the very same place. Two months later as it happens in life she broke up with her boyfriend for the 6th time and moved back to middle America. The same day she left her former boyfriend comes to me, and now he wants a copy of the same picture. Of course that is not the end to the story. I would have to write a novel to give this story its proper coverage. Another customer asked for a print because this place had special meaning between him and his girlfriend. She is now living up north, and he is still trying to get her to move to Fort Pierce.

Thank you so much for your comment. This picture was a learning experience for me. This was my second try at trying to get a picture of 'On the Edge' the docks and course the sunset and the river. The first time my pictures were so bad on so many levels that I had to come back, my ego demanded it. I never fully appreciated the artistic aspects of places like On the Edge until I produced this picture and was surprised by the good reception I have received from this picture.
